Our challenge was to take a site that the council deemed a low density retail scheme and turn it into a valuable development for our client.
Our high density solution considerably increases the retail lettable area from that originally envisaged, and successfully integrates a mix of uses within the sensitive constraints of an urban site.
The brownfield site, partly within a conservation area and adjacent to a grade II listed building, is transformed into an important pedestrian link between the main train station and the town centre.
