Planning approval has been granted for 9 residential units and a new covered outdoor space, as part of the redevelopment of the Flora Hotel on Harrow Road, adjacent to the Grand Union Canal.
The plans extend and refurbish the existing public house to provide new flats within the upper levels, and introduced three new units above the original pub garden. As part of the works, redundant outbuildings are removed from the yard and new accessible facilities introduced within the main pub building. The new outdoor space is now directly linked to The Flora, and offers a full length south facing frontage to the canal.
The new flats similarly enjoy an outlook onto the canal, in contrast to the traditional building stock which treated what is now an amenity asset purely as an industrial waterway.
