Teaming up again with the charity CRASH, Black are designing a remodelled facility for the Winchester Churches Night Shelter project.
The proposals aim to maximise the number of single bed spaces with en-suite bathrooms that can be provided within the current building in Winchester. New rooms are being created in previously underused spaces with novel ways to introduce natural light being tested. Pod bathrooms are also being considered to minimise disruption so that the charity can continue to operate throughout the year.
The work provided by the practice will assist the charity in gaining landlord consent to adjust the building and also enable funding bids to be made to undertake the work.
